Richard is a senior lawyer in our successful family team. Heading up our offering in the Radlett office, he is ideally placed to help clients living in both Hertfordshire and London. Richard advises on all aspects of divorce and separation, specialising in complex and high value financial settlements, often involving family businesses and assets held abroad.
Always professional, he puts clients at ease with his ability to quickly get to the heart of a matter and explain clearly what the issues are and what strategies should be put in place. Throughout his involvement with his client, Richard will always have an eye on making sure they are best placed to move forward with their lives. Richard is a specialist collaborative lawyer.
Richard provides legal advice on high net worth and complex financial cases and representation in divorce proceedings. He can also advise unmarried couples who are separating and has a particular specialism in cases involving disputes over the joint ownership of property.
He also advises on wealth protection involving pre and post nuptial agreements, living together agreements and separation agreements and deals with cases involving children of separating couples.
Richard has particular expertise on the impact of issues relating to inheritance and their impact of relationship dissolution.
Richard studied Law at Liverpool’s John Moores University and qualified in 1996. Before entering the legal profession he worked for the Ministry of Defence. Richard spent the first six years of his career working in London before joining Turner & Debenhams (now Debenhams Ottaway) in 2000.
Richard is a Foundation Governor of Yavneh College.
