I support individuals and couples going through divorce or separation, guiding them through the practical and emotional challenges that often arise around children, finances and future planning. My work also includes helping clients facing domestic abuse, advising on nuptial agreements, resolving cohabitation disputes and assisting with variations of maintenance orders.
Known for my calm, constructive and down-to-earth approach, I focus on helping clients reach workable and cost-effective solutions that enable them to move forward with confidence.
Expertise
I work with clients experiencing the breakdown of a relationship, whether married, civil partnered or cohabiting, advising on how assets, property and income should be divided, and supporting them in negotiating agreements that protect their long-term financial wellbeing.
I also advise parents who are trying to agree on future arrangements for their children. My priority is to help families reach clear, child-focused solutions around living arrangements, contact, and decision making, always aiming to reduce conflict wherever possible.
In situations involving domestic abuse, I act quickly to support clients in securing urgent protective orders and ensuring they can access the safety and legal protection they need. I also understand that clients in these situations often need to make pragmatic decisions for themselves and their families, and I will support them along the way.
I studied law at Oxford, graduating in 2009. After a short break from the legal profession, I started as a paralegal at a regional firm specialising in family law. I achieved a distinction in the Legal Practice Course before joining Debenhams Ottaway as a trainee in 2023 and qualifying as a solicitor in 2025.
