I’m an experienced lawyer in our corporate and commercial team, with many years of advising clients across a broad range of sectors.

My career began in the City, where I trained and worked for several years, supporting clients that included investment trusts, corporate finance houses, listed public companies, private limited companies, family-run businesses, and start-ups.

Expertise

I specialise in corporate M&A, helping clients navigate acquisitions and disposals, and guiding them through the process of preparing a company for sale. I’m particularly passionate about constitutional and corporate governance matters, whether it’s drafting shareholders’ agreements, bespoke articles of association, joint venture arrangements, share buy-backs, share schemes, or other constitutional documentation.

I also advise on a wide variety of commercial contracts, including terms and conditions, supply of goods and services agreements, distribution agreements, joint ventures, and design and construction management agreements. My experience extends to high-value corporate finance transactions, including investments by institutional investors.

Before qualifying as a solicitor, I studied history at the University of Exeter, then completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York. After qualifying I worked at a City law firm and regional law firm before joining Debenhams Ottaway in 2021. I am a member of the Law Society.
