Debenhams Ottaway is proud to announce that it is sponsoring the VIP Lounge at this year’s Pub in the Park festival in St Albans.
Following the sell-out success in 2021, Pub in the Park is coming back to St Albans from 9 to 11 September. Co-hosted by celebrity chef, Simon Rimmer and Geordie chef legend Si King from The Hairy Bikers, the three-day event celebrates everything we love about the glorious British pub; delicious food, award-winning chefs, chart-topping music, great drinks but above all else a fantastic time with friends and family – all in the heart of St Albans.
Pub in the Park will once again be bringing an incredible group of chefs – expect to see some of the hottest new talent in the food world, your TV favourites and some highly acclaimed Michelin-starred names. The host of award-winning pubs and restaurants will serve tasting dishes showing their signature style – from local favourites to revered eateries from farther afield – giving you the chance to savour food you might not otherwise get to sink your teeth into.
The VIP Lounge sponsored by Debenhams Ottaway will make it an extra special event. Situated right in front of the main stage, VIP ticket holders will enjoy incredible music performances from the comfort of their seat. They’ll also benefit from fast-track entry, complimentary drinks and dishes and intimate Q&A sessions with top chefs. Find out more about the VIP Experience here.
There are some fantastic pubs and restaurants taking part, including Tom Kerridge’s The Hand and Flowers, Atul Kochhar Restaurants and not forgetting St Albans’ very own 3AA Rosette restaurant Thompson.
Music acts include pop band McFly (Friday evening), queen of the kitchen disco Sophie Ellis-Bextor (Friday evening), one fifth of arguably the greatest girl band of all time Melanie C (Saturday afternoon), indie rock band legends Kaiser Chiefs (Saturday evening) and soul sensation Beverley Knight (Lazy Sunday session).
The 2022 event will feature more bars, a bigger arena and even more festival fun – with chef demonstrations, the finest produce, top quality shopping and a kid’s area to keep the little ones entertained.
