We successfully helped Crohn’s and Colitis UK move into new headquarters. Their lease was due to expire and we were under severe time constraints to get them into alternative accommodation. The property found was complicated as it involved the grant of a new underlease, coterminous with the surrender of an existing sublease. There were also many associated issues to deal with around dilapidations and fit out. The deadline wasn’t flexible as their existing landlord was not willing to extend their occupation of their existing accommodation. As there were four parties to deal with, each with their own competing interests, it was very tricky to get everything in place within the timescale.
