We helped a trustee in bankruptcy recover the assets of a bankruptcy estate on behalf of creditors.
The estate claimed an interest in two properties, which was disputed by the bankrupt’s partner. After extensive pre-action correspondence, we issued proceedings in April 2021.
This case involved complex areas of law including trusts and tracing, and the trustee in bankruptcy needed complex advice to understand the potential risks and benefits to creditors.
The case settled on confidential terms.
