An employment agency had issued an invoice for £17,000 which was disputed. Previous attempts at eliciting payment had failed. We prepared a detailed letter before action setting out the terms of the contract and why, under contract, the invoice was due. The debtor made payment in full to the employment agency within 14 days of the letter before action.
