Advising a mother with young children whose husband passed away without a Will

We dealt with the administration of an estate for a young mother with children under 18. The husband did not make a Will and as his estate was over £250,000, his wife did not receive the whole estate under the intestacy rules and her children were entitled to inherit.

We advised her on how the intestacy rules applied to her and how the estate had to be dealt with to provide for the children who were also entitled to inherit under the intestacy rules.
