Debenhams Ottaway has once again welcomed a Christmas nutcracker to its St Albans office as part of the St Albans Nutcracker Trail 2022, organised by St Albans BID. Ten giant nutcrackers will appear in St Albans over the festive season, positioned in key locations around the City.
This year our team chose a festive name for the Debenhams Ottaway nutcracker, that also recognises a recently retired partner who has been part of our long history in the St Albans community. Joining Debenhams Ottaway (then Turner & Debenhams) in 1999, he played a key part in making our Wills, trusts and probate team, the success it is today and through his support and mentoring developed our successful trainee programme.
How can I take part in the Nutcracker Trail
- Nutcracker seekers can pick up a booklet in the City centre, pop into our office to get a copy, or download it here.
- Follow the map in the booklet to find the nutcrackers and, once located, write down the name of each one in your booklet.
- Once you’ve found all the names, post your completed trail sheet in Santa’s Postbox in St Albans Museum and Gallery (marked on the map) – by 22 December.
- You’ll then be entered into a prize draw where three winners will be drawn at random -each will win a £20 St Albans gift card.
The St Albans Nutcracker Trail will run from 19 November to 22 December 2022.
We hope you have a safe and family-friendly adventure and discover St Albans this festive season. Remember to tag @StAlbans_BID and @DebenhamsOtt in your #nutcrackertrail selfies on Instagram or Twitter.
