David Silver, a highly accomplished lawyer with over 30 years experience in corporate finance and commercial work, is joining Debenhams Ottaway to head up their corporate team, recently recognised in Legal 500.
David has spent many years working in the Middle East on a wide range of corporate, regulatory and commercial issues. He brings with him an impressive track record of deals, as well as a wealth of experience in growing and developing highly skilled, client focused legal teams. Recognised in Chambers and Partners, he will be working with the firm’s business and banking clients on establishing, running and growing their businesses.
David will join Debenhams Ottaway on 3 October from Hassan Al Khater Law Office in Qatar, where he was, until recently, a senior legal consultant
David commented “Having recently settled back in the UK, I was looking for a quality, high profile firm, where I could use my skills to help grow a company and commercial practice. I will be working with senior associate, Andrew Yates and the rest of the team to enhance our offering to our clients including the commercial interests of the firm’s significant private wealth client base across Hertfordshire and beyond.”
Paul Khan, CEO, added, “I am excited to announce that we have successfully recruited a partner to head up our corporate and commercial team. We look forward to welcoming David to the team next month.”
