Debenhams Ottaway has been listed in The Lawyer top 200 UK law firms for 2015, the only St Albans firm and one of only two Hertfordshire firms recognised. This comes after a number of other impressive accolades, including its Law Society Excellence award win for private client work last week and its performance in the latest independent legal directory rankings.
The UK Lawyer publishes their annual list of the top 200 law firms in the UK based on revenue. Debenhams Ottaway’s inclusion reflects its strong growth over recent years and commitment to building its business through consistently outstanding service and advice.
UK legal directories, Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners also recently published their rankings with employment, commercial litigation, family, commercial property, planning and private client teams and lawyers at Debenhams Ottaway all being recognised. These rankings really help to reinforce the high level of knowledge, expertise and client care their lawyers provide.
Last week Debenhams Ottaway also received another national recognition when they were awarded the ‘Excellence in Private Client Practice’ award at the Law Society Excellence Awards 2015. The judges were impressed with their dedication to client service and raising awareness in the local community of key issues and how to get help.
Chief Executive Paul Khan, who only joined Debenhams Ottaway last month commented “What a great start to my new role at Debenhams Ottaway, to be back in The Lawyer UK 200 is a fantastic achievement. We already have a hard working team who put a huge amount of energy and imagination into helping clients and I look forward to building on this further.”
