Family run business, The Chocolate Wrapper, last week received the ‘Best New Business’ award at the St Albans and District Chamber of Commerce Community Business Awards. The Harpenden based business was recognised by the judging panel for their innovative personalised chocolate bars for all occasions.
Debenhams Ottaway who sponsored the ‘Best New Business’ category has a strong client base of local entrepreneurs, owner managed and medium-sized businesses.
Chief Executive, Ian Hopkins who gave the award to the Barker family who own the Chocolate Wrapper commented “The Chocolate Wrapper is a great example of a local innovative business which has shown real entrepreneurial flair. We work with many Hertfordshire based businesses and supporting these awards is a great opportunity to celebrate their hard work and success and recognise their contribution to the local economy.”
