I am the people officer at Debenhams Ottaway, supporting the firm across a wide range of HR activities – from day to day HR administration and recruitment through to employee relations. I also play an active role as an ambassador for the firm and its culture.
Expertise
I’ve worked in HR for several years across a variety of sectors, most recently in education. During this time, I’ve gained hands on experience with several HR information systems and supported the full range of generalist HR responsibilities. This has strengthened my ability to build positive working relationships and reinforced the importance of confidentiality, integrity and a calm, practical approach.
I also have strong experience in talent acquisition, managing end to end recruitment and the wider employee lifecycle. I enjoy helping to create a positive experience for candidates and colleagues alike, and contributing to a strong and authentic employer brand.
