As Head of IT at Debenhams Ottaway, I lead the development and execution of the firm’s IT strategy. I’m responsible for managing our technology infrastructure and continuously evolving our systems to enhance the service delivered to clients.
Being the Head of IT involves being dynamic and requires various skills all of which, I have built up over the years!

My role demands adaptability and a diverse skill set – qualities I’ve cultivated over more than 26 years in legal IT. During my time in professional services, I have gained a broad range of operational skills, particularly in managing IT functions, communications, financial oversight, and people management. I collaborate closely with all the operational teams, giving me a strong understanding of how each function contributes to the overall success of the business.
Before joining Debenhams Ottaway, I worked for a full service law firm for over 20 years, where I built a strong foundation in legal IT and developed a passion for driving innovation in professional services.
