With a clear focus on its people and clients, Debenhams Ottaway has just announced the promotion of four more lawyers. Having promoted 16 people, including 5 partners during the ‘covid years’, it continues its commitment to developing and promoting its talent.
- Hot on the heels of partner Andrew Carter joining the dispute resolution team, Rachel Watson has been promoted to associate. She works closely with Alexander Neale on insolvency.
- Helen Clyne, one of the firm’s leading family/divorce lawyers and known for her successful outcomes for clients whilst adopting a non-confrontational approach, is promoted to senior associate.
- Adam Matthews is one of the rising stars in the Wills, trusts and probate team and is promoted to associate. Adam focuses on the rapidly growing area of trusts.
- Rosie Penny, a relatively new recruit to the commercial property team, has been quickly recognised for her hard work and skills with promotion to associate.
Managing partner Susan Glenholme said “All of the lawyers promoted today have shown outstanding technical expertise as well as a dedication to client service. They are all team players, helping to develop others in their areas, taking part in Debenhams Ottaway’s community and charitable work and going the extra mile for our clients. For me, they are the future of the firm and we must support and encourage them in their careers”.
