Debenhams Ottaway once again has been ranked as the only “Band 1” firm in the Private Wealth category in St Albans and Hertfordshire.
The well regarded industry directory, Chambers & Partners, UK puts together an annual list of the best firms based on recommendations from both fellow professionals and clients.
The Private Wealth team led by Managing Partner, Susan Glenholme is the largest in St Albans with clients commenting in Chambers that “The quality of their work and the care, knowledge and empathy they provide is of the highest order”.
Susan Glenholme was ranked in band 1 in the Chambers HNW guide 2018 and highlighted as being “professional, empathetic, well organised and leads her team by example. She is tireless in her commitment to provide the best possible service to her clients and I cannot recommend her enough”.
Private Client Partner, Nicholas Turner was also ranked in the guide with clients commenting that he is “extremely knowledgeable, experienced, courteous and kind” with one source commenting “I continue to deal with Nick and Debenhams Ottaway because of the trust I have in Nick. One of the things I like is that they understand and value the importance of that long-term relationship”.
Michael Henry, Senior Associate Solicitor, specialising in contested trusts and probate was ranked for the first time in the Chambers HNW guide 2018. Chambers commented that Michael “is one to watch” describing him as “innovative and good at coming up with solutions to resolve issues”.
