Lorna is excited to have started the season of road racing. She has been very busy these last two weeks, she has raced three times and has come 5th, 3rd and 3rd, two of which were regional races.
Lorna has now moved into the junior category and she raced in the women’s team series in Essex last Sunday. She took 3rd place in her race, this is a great achievement for her as this is a big event for the national teams.
Lorna will be racing in Gent, Belgium this Sunday, which is first time for her. This is a big race as there will be 150 junior girls from all over the world racing. As this will be Lorna’s first time cycling abroad she will be feeling the nerves along with cobbles beneath her wheels!
