The Wills made by the great and the good, famous or important individuals often spark interest and curiosity when in the document comes into the public realm.
Of course infamous individuals widely viewed as far from great or good have also been known to make a Will. An example reported this month includes Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden.
The BBC News report explains that Bin Laden’s Will has been included amongst various other documents released to US media. The Will was seized in the US assault in Abbotabad, Pakistan and can be viewed online.
I do hope any money that is not sanctioned or frozen is not in fact spent as directed by the testator (person who wrote the Will). Chillingly he urged his family to “obey my will” and to spend the inheritance from his estate on “jihad, for the sake of Allah”.
