Grant Thornton’s review of leading St Albans businesses
Debenhams Ottaway was this week listed, along with many of its clients, in Grant Thornton’s inaugural Business Barometer, a review of the top 100 businesses based within the City. St Albans has a big business community and is well placed to keep growing. The top 100 generate £8.8bn in revenue and employ a large number of people from the local area.
Debenhams Ottaway’s long presence in Hertfordshire and its commitment to the people and businesses in St Albans is the foundation of its success. Its position as trusted adviser, built up over many years providing inheritance, probate, trusts and family law advice, has allowed it to grow its commercial law team successfully advising many of the businesses listed in the Top 100.
Louise Attrup, executive partner, commented “Grant Thornton’s review demonstrates what a strong businesses community we have in St Albans. Being on the doorstep of London, we can offer the people living and working in St Albans and the rest of Hertfordshire excellent advice, great client service but also a much more personal approach. Business in this area is already seeing the effects of the improvements in the economy and we are very pleased to be part of this”.
