What Clients Say
  • May I take this opportunity of saying thank you, to you and your staff, for the excellent service and sound advice provided to me and my sister when dealing with our mother’s estate. Collecting the finances and selling the house was a lot more time consuming than I ever anticipated. Your advice and patience throughout the probate process has been really appreciated. Learning throughout this process has encouraged me to simplify my affairs and after the summer I’ll book an appointment with you to review our wills and our financial planning. I am delighted that you managed to get the Revenue & Customs to accept the valuation reduction and with the resulting prompt refund. Your advice and actions to be persistent with the Revenue gave us the outcome we were hoping for.

  • We very much valued the thorough approach with attention to detail on what was a complicated and long case, the regular information sharing and communication and the way you sought out our own opinions, your sensitive involvement with my elderly and unwell parents. We felt we were dealing with a solicitor who had high professional standards alongside the ability to show kindness and compassion.

  • Your sound legal advice and invaluable professional steerage has been one of the rocks on which our family – three generations of them now – has been built.

  • We really appreciate the very professional way in which you have dealt with my mother’s estate. It is very reassuring to know that someone understands all the rules so well, especially at a time of loss, when perhaps one is not always as competent as in normal times. She told me how much she used to enjoy your visits to Sutton Manor when you came to discuss her affairs. Thank you for all the trouble you have taken over many years with our family’s affairs.

  • I am extremely grateful to you and your excellent team at Debenhams Ottaway for all your care and hard work over the past few years. On behalf of all of us, both past and present, I would like to say a most sincere thank you to you personally and to everybody who has worked with you. It has always been a great pleasure to work with you, and you have always given us the most sage, timely and reliable advice.
