Eleanor is a senior lawyer in our commercial property team. She is a city trained lawyer with experience acting on a broad range of commercial property transactions.
Eleanor advises on all aspects of commercial property transactions with a particular focus on large portfolio sales and purchases, complex lease re-gears and more straightforward sales, purchases, leases and management work. Eleanor also has extensive experience advising on the property aspects of corporate and finance transactions. Eleanor has advised a wide range of clients including pension funds, property companies and lenders as well as tenants in the retail, office and hotel sectors. She prides herself on her collaborative approach to transactions and focus on getting the job done.
Work highlights include:
- Successfully regearing the leases of two bingo clubs held by a high-profile tenant in the gaming industry
- Acting on the £13.5m purchase of a prime vacant building in SE1 for development
- Acting for a well-known property company on the £210m refinancing of 170 properties
- Acting on the winding up of a pension fund which involved the disposal of retail and industrial estates across the country.
Eleanor trained at Nabarro LLP (now CMS) and qualified into the commercial property team in 2011 before gaining further experience at Clifford Chance and then a West End practice. Eleanor chose a career in property law as she enjoys dealing with one of the most significant assets that most of us will either own or invest in.
