Dan joined Debenhams Ottaway in 2017 as a legal assistant in our dispute resolution team.

He has over a year’s experience of this area of work and assists in advising a variety of clients, both businesses and individuals, on debt recovery and credit control. He also provides administrative and fee-earning assistance to the team in matters regarding insolvency.

Dan has experience preparing and issuing court proceedings, often instructing bailiffs and High Court Enforcement Officers. He also compiles bundles for court and mediation hearings.

Prior to joining Debenhams Ottaway Dan graduated with a degree in Law from the University of Liverpool in 2017. During his time there, Dan regularly volunteered in the Liverpool Law Clinic, where he provided advice on a pro bono basis to a variety of clients in areas ranging from probate to property.
