Canan specialises in transactions involving assignment and underletting, the granting of new leases, surrendering of leases, negotiating lease terms, lease renewals and rent reviews.

She has developed a great deal of experience in all areas of residential and commercial property including sale and purchases of registered and unregistered (leasehold and freehold) land, re-mortgages (including bridging finance), help to buy, right to buy transactions, transfer of equity, new build and lease extensions.

After completing her LPC at the University of Law, Canan trained at a high street firm, where she qualified as a solicitor in December 2020. She joined Debenhams Ottaway in April 2022.
