Adam is a lawyer in our renowned private client team.
He advises on all aspects of Wills, tax planning, estate administration and lasting powers of attorney.
Adam joined Debenhams Ottaway as a trainee lawyer in 2016 and qualified in March 2018. Before joining Debenhams Ottaway Adam worked as a paralegal and police station representative at a city law firm who specialise in criminal and extradition defence.
Adam advises clients who are making a Will for the first time, as well as assisting clients who wish to make changes to their current Wills as their circumstances change. Adam provides advice on the latest inheritance tax rules.
His experience in the administration of estates ranges from small estates through to large complex estates. He has experience in drafting a range of deeds and documents and assisting executors with their responsibilities. Adam assists with any tax issues that arise during the administration of an estate.
Adam also has experience of preparing and registering lasting powers of attorney.
Adam studied Criminology at the University of Leicester and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of Westminster, subsequently to this, he completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. Adam completed his training contract at Debenhams Ottaway and qualified as solicitor in 2018 and has been working in our private client team since qualifying.
