We helped an injured motorcyclist who was a director of a small but successful construction business. His injuries from the road traffic accident included a significant pelvic fracture, a comminuted radial fracture of the left wrist, a ligamentous injury to the left knee and a soft tissue neck injury.

Following a letter of claim to the defendant’s motor insurers we received an admission of liability, and also secured several interim payments for the client. Information from medical experts and a report from a forensic accountant helped to prove that the client’s ongoing physical restrictions from the accident related injuries would impact the saleability of the business as the client was nearing retirement.

We successfully negotiated settlement of £210,000 by way of damages inclusive of interest.
