We advised a male member of kitchen staff who had worked in a restaurant on New Year’s Eve and slipped on a loose and/or slippery floor covering and sustained arm and wrist injuries.

The calculation of the client’s loss of earnings claim was more complicated than normal because he had two other part time jobs and information was needed to ensure that the claim was maximised.

An interim payment was obtained and subsequently final settlement was successfully negotiated in the sum of £45,000 for damages inclusive of interest.
