We helped a client make a claim under the Work at Height Regulations against the film studio production company who employed him.  Before we became involved the claimant had used another law firm who rejected his claim as being unlikely to succeed.  We came to a different conclusion and pressed the defendant film studio who eventually conceded liability.

The client sustained a permanent ankle injury which caused him disadvantage on the open labour market.  On a full liability basis the claim settled for over £200,000 and after taking into account contributory negligence the client received a net settlement of £160,000.
