Paul Khan, who grew up locally, will be returning after 10 years in Melbourne to St Albans to take on the role of Chief Executive Officer at Debenhams Ottaway, which has seen significant growth and success in recent years. Paul has worked in many countries for some of the world’s largest and most successful law firms and accountants, including Linklaters and KPMG. More recently he has worked with small to medium sized professional services firms, leading them through significant change and development. It was this combination of experience which led Debenhams Ottaway to appoint him to help drive the firm’s very ambitious growth targets over the next few years.

Paul will join Debenhams Ottaway in October, just before it completes its implementation of a state of the art IT system – the multi award winning Peppermint Legal Service Platform. With its successful rebranding in 2014, a strong financial performance year on year and a team which has grown by 50% in the last 5 years, Debenhams Ottaway was seeking a new CEO with the right blend of skills and experience to take it to the next level.

Louise Attrup, Executive Partner commented “Paul’s range of expertise from financial performance and business development, through to strategic planning will be invaluable at Debenhams Ottaway. Combine this with his energy and broad experience and we believe he will be a hugely positive force here”.

Paul Khan commented “It is rare to find a fast-growing, talented firm like Debenhams Ottaway rooted in its local community and totally focused on its clients’ needs. To come home and work with everyone at the firm to help deliver ever increasing client value is both exciting and a great privilege.”
