Five new graduate trainees joined Debenhams Ottaway this week with a further seven qualified lawyers joining over the next few months.

Selected from over 200 applications and following a rigorous interview process, the trainees will now develop their legal and client care skills by working closely with the lawyers in the firm’s main practice areas over the next two years: dispute resolution/litigation, commercial and residential property, private client (wills, trusts, probate),  family and corporate/commercial.

The qualified lawyers have joined teams in all the main service areas to help meet the demands of a more confident business environment and prosperous local community.  Debenhams Ottaway recruits the best talent in the market who have the energy and imagination to succeed and have the highest quality legal and client care skills.

Chief Executive Ian Hopkins comments “I am delighted that Debenhams Ottaway is able to continue to offer young aspiring solicitors’ excellent training which provides a good foundation to their legal career. As well as welcoming trainee solicitors we’re very pleased that the firm has continued to grow organically and is able to create new roles across all practice areas.”
